Wheat Germ Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 egg (well beaten)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup unbleached flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup wheat germ
Yield: 10 Muffins
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes

Instructions

Beat together the egg, sugar, milk and butter. Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder and mix into egg mixture. Stir in the wheat germ lightly. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 cup full and bake at 425° for 20 minutes, or until done.
