The People’s Choice: Quick & Easy Holiday Cheese Spread

Baked cheese spread in a white dish, garnished with green onions, served with sliced baguette.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
  • 1 cup chopped sweet onion (such as Vidalia, not cooking onion)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Yield: 10 Servings
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes

Instructions

Mix ingredients together and place in an oven-proof bowl. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes (overbaking causes cheese to separate). Serve warm with slices (or torn) pieces of French bread.
