Sugar Plums

Sugar plums: Dark, round candies coated in sugar, piled on a gray plate with almonds.

Ingredients

  • 2 package pitted ready-to-eat prunes (12 oz. package size)
  • 3/4 cup almond paste
  • 2 tablespoon sherry (up to 3 tablespoons)
  • slivered almonds
  • granulated sugar
Yield: 24 Servings
Prep Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

Soften almond paste with sherry. Fill each prune with 1/2 teaspoonful. Press a sliver of almond in the center and roll in sugar.
