Sausage & Cheese Pie

Baked sausage and cheese pie with flaky crust, sliced and garnished with fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent rolls (8-oz can, refrigerated)
  • 1 package brown & serve sausage links (8-oz)
  • 2 cup Monterey Jack cheese (or cheddar, shredded)
  • 4 eggs (slightly beaten or equivalent Egg Beaters)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasonings (heaping)
Yield: 6 Servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place separated sheets of crescent rolls in bottom and up 1/2 side of pie pan. Seal perforations. Slice sausage and arrange over crust. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown. Recipe may be doubled and cooked in 9 x 13-inch rectangular pan. Great served with fruit salad.
