Pumpkin Pie Cake

Slice of pumpkin pie cake with crumb topping and whipped cream, sprinkled with spice.

Ingredients

  • 1 can pumpkin (29 oz.)
  • 1 can evaporated milk (13 oz.)
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 package yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped (opt.)
  • 2 sticks butter (melted)
  • whipped cream
Yield: 24 Servings
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 50 minutes

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix together pumpkin, milk, sugar and spices. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle walnuts over cake mix. Drizzle melted butter over top. Bake for 50 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
