Pecan Pie II

Baked pecan pie with a golden-brown crust and shiny pecan halves arranged on top.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light Karo syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecan halves
Yield: 12 Servings
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 50 minutes

Instructions

Prepare your favorite crust and fit it into an 8-inch pie pan. Combine all above ingredients (except pecans) in the order given and mix well. Sprinkle pecans over pie shell. Cover with egg mixture. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325° and bake for 40 more minutes.
