Party Squash

Baked squash casserole topped with toasted pecans in a white dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 package frozen cooked squash (10-oz)
  • 2 tablespoon butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup pecans (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Yield: 6 Servings
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

Instructions

Thaw frozen squash in buttered casserole. Stir in butter, 1/4 cup pecans, honey, salt and nutmeg. Sprinkle top with remaining pecans. Dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Bake in 350° oven for 25 minutes. Nice accompaniment for holiday dinners.
