La Salade de l’Autume

Autumn salad: Greens, pear slices, walnuts, and red leaves on a white plate. Dressing in a jar.

Ingredients

  • 3 kinds mixed greens (up to 4 varieties)
  • 1 cup walnuts (toasted)
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup "Connoisseur Collection" herb vinegar
  • pears or apples
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • black pepper (to taste)
Yield: 8 Servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Instructions

Wash greens and cut into bite-size pieces. Make vinaigrette: Mix vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Whisk olive oil in, drop by drop. Dice pears and/or apples. Toast walnuts in 350° for 5 to 8 minutes on rimmed baking sheet.
