Healthy Burger

Two stacked veggie burgers with herbs, peppers, feta, and cilantro on a white plate.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 3/4 cup frozen spinach
  • 1/2 cup red, green, and/or yellow bell peppers (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • unknown pepper (to taste)
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
Yield: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes

Instructions

Beat egg, then mix all ingredients. Form four 1/4 lb. burgers. Heat olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Add burgers, cover and cook to desired doneness.
