Fettuccine Alfredo

Fettuccine Alfredo on a white plate, topped with grated cheese and a parsley sprig.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce cream cheese (regular or light)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • crabmeat (or shrimp or chicken, cooked, optional)
  • 8 ounce fettuccine pasta (cooked and drained)
Yield: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes

Instructions

Stir first 4 ingredients together over low heat until melted and sauce is smooth. Add seafood or chicken, if desired, and heat through. Serve immediately over hot pasta.
