Mix crumbs and nuts, 1/2 for the bottom and 1/2 for the top. Use an 8-inch pan. Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg yolks; mix in thoroughly. Add chocolate and vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites until all the same color. Put chocolate mixture on top of crumb mixture and put other 1/2 of crumb mixture on top. Refrigerate.
