Bake brownie mix according to directions in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Prick top of warm brownies with a fork and drizzle with the liqueur or coffee. Cool and crumble. Prepare pudding mix according to directions, but do not chill. To assemble, place 1/3 of crumbled brownies in bottom of a 3-quart trifle dish or glass dish. Top with 1/3 each of pudding, Cool Whip and crushed candy bits. Repeat all layers twice with the remaining ingredients, ending with the candy bits. Chill 8 hours. Makes 16 servings.
