Chocolate Loaf

Sliced chocolate loaf cake, dusted with cocoa powder and topped with pecans.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • 1 egg (slightly beaten)
  • 1/4 cup butter, unsalted (melted)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup pecans (chopped)
Yield: 1 Loaf
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes

Instructions

Mix ingredients together and bake in a small greased loaf pan or cupcake pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
