Caramel Corn I

Caramel corn with pecans in a white bowl. The popcorn is coated in a shiny, golden-brown caramel.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Karo white syrup
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 cup pecans/walnuts/or toasted almonds (optional)
Yield: 16 Servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Instructions

Bring sugar and syrup to a full boil. Add butter. Boil 2 minutes. Pour over 8 quarts of popcorn and nuts.
