California Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa (up to 3/4 cup)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 12 ounce chocolate chips
  • warm powdered sugar (optional)
Yield: 20 Servings
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients together. Put in cake or loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, checking periodically. Serving Suggestions: Cover with warm powdered sugar.
