Blueberry Crisp

Baked blueberry crisp in white dish, topped with golden crumble and pecans.

Ingredients

  • 3 cup blueberries (fresh)
  • 1/3 cup grape juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • vegetable cooking spray
  • 1/3 cup quick-cooking oats (uncooked)
  • 1/4 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoon margarine (softened)
  • 1/2 cup pecans
Yield: 6 Servings
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes

Instructions

Combine blueberries, grape juice and allspice in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray. Combine next 5 ingredients in a small bowl; stir in margarine until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle topping over blueberry mixture; bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve hot or at room temperature. Yield: 6 servings.
