Caramel Chocolate Cake

Slice of chocolate cake with caramel drizzle, white frosting, and candy pieces on a patterned plate.

Ingredients

  • 1 package German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz.)
  • 1 package butterscotch-caramel ice cream topping (17 oz. jar)
  • 12 ounce whipped topping
  • 3 Heath candy bars (crushed)
Yield: 15 Servings
Prep Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes

Instructions

Prepare and bake cake mix, using package directions for a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Cool slightly. Pierce cake at 1-inch intervals with wooden spoon handle. Pour condensed milk over cake; spread evenly with ice cream topping. Chill for at least 1 hour. Spread with whipped topping; sprinkle with crushed candy bars. Chill until serving. Makes 15 servings.
