Sauerkraut Salad

Sauerkraut salad on a white plate, topped with celery, red onion, carrots, and dill.

Ingredients

  • 1 can sauerkraut (rinsed and drained, large can)
  • 1/4 cup red onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup celery (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup green pepper (chopped)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
Yield: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes

Instructions

Mix in order given and let stand overnight in refrigerator. Can stand a week or more. Good with roast beef or ham.
