Mushrooms Polonaise

Baked mushrooms topped with golden breadcrumbs and parsley in a white dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 onion (minced)
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • unknown salt (to taste)
  • unknown pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoon parsley (minced)
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs (tossed in 1/4 c melted butter)
Yield: 6 Servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour

Instructions

Sauté mushrooms in buffer until lightly brown. Add onion; cook until soft. Stir in flour. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Stir in other ingredients except crumbs. Pour into a buttered casserole. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes, or until brown.
