• 3 tablespoon sweet milk (plain milk)
• 3 teaspoon soda
• 3 cup flour
• 1/2 cup flour (for fruit and nuts)
• 1 small glass whiskey
• 1 teaspoon each: cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
• 1 pound dates
• 1/2 pound candied pineapple
• 1/2 pound candied cherries
• 1 pound white raisins
• 1 pound pecans or walnuts
