Danish Delights

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg yolk (put white in separate bowl)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- Maraschino cherries, halved
Yield: 24 Cookies
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Instructions
Mix first five ingredients. Make into 24 small balls. Beat egg white. Dip each ball in egg white and then in chopped nuts. Bake 5 minutes at 375°. Take out, press in cherry. Bake 10 minutes more. Yields 2 dozen.
