Chicken Casserole V

Chicken casserole on white plate, topped with creamy mushroom sauce, bacon bits, and chopped chives.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken breasts (up to 10, preferably boned and skinned)
  • 1 us liquid pint sour cream
  • 2 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can chopped mushrooms (8-oz)
  • 1 can dried beef
Yield: 8 Servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 3 hours

Instructions

Cover bottom of pan with dried beef, pulled into bits. Lay chicken on top of beef. Blend sour cream, mushroom soup and mushrooms. Pour over chicken. Bake at 300° for 3 hours. Suggestion: The sauce is great served over cooked rice.
