Cheesy Bread Pudding

Baked cheesy bread pudding in a white dish, topped with golden-brown toasted bread cubes and garnished with fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 2 slice white bread (crusts removed)
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 3 eggs (slightly beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt (to taste)
Yield: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 50 minutes

Instructions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Butter a 1-quart casserole. Cut the bread into 1-inch squares. Scald the milk, cool slightly, and beat in the cheese, eggs, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Pour into the casserole, add the bread squares and bake 40-50 minutes or until firm.
