Cape Cod Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening, melted
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1/4 cup milk
Yield: 50 Cookies
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 12 minutes
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix dry ingredients (flour, soda, cinnamon and salt) in a large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Arrange by teaspoonful on buttered cookie sheet. Bake until edges are brown, about 12 minutes. Makes 50 cookies.
