Just One More Week of Summer Reading
Our Summer Reading Program ends next Saturday, August 7 at 5 p.m. Kids should record their hours and adult should submit book review slips by that time to be eligible for prizes. We'll draw our grand prize winners on Monday, August 9. Thanks to everyone who participated this year!
Teen Yoga
Take a deep breath and join a trained instructor from Yoga on High at Teen Yoga on Tuesday, August 3 at 3 p.m. at the Main Library. This beginners' class is for those entering grades 6-10.

Update on Lighting Improvement Project
On the recommendation of the Operations Committee, the Library Board at their June meeting agreed to rebid the lighting improvement project with an addendum that included a new timeline. There will be no change to the primary objective of the project which is to upgrade and thereby improve the quality of the lighting with an energy efficient system. If the Board is able to award a contract after this bid round, the project is expected to be completed by November 19, 2010.
