Upper Arlington has some pretty fantastic annual events, and two of them are occurring soon in Northam Park, right by the Main Library!
The first, in its 20th year, is Taste of UA, being held Thursday, August 8, from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sponsored by the UA Chamber of Commerce, it’s an opportunity to experience many of the wonderful restaurants and other businesses located around Upper Arlington. There will also be other entertainment to enjoy during the festival; check out this write-up from the Greater Columbus Arts Council for other things to look forward to at the event.
Then, on Monday, September 2, head back to Northam Park for the 47th Labor Day Arts Festival, happening from 10am to 5pm. Experience work from over 200 artists in a variety of media, see live performances and enjoy refreshments from multiple food and beverage vendors. And you won’t be able to miss the giant lawn mural!
Northam Park is just one of Upper Arlington’s 28 city parks, but, on 22 acres with baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a swimming pool and playground, it’s a very popular one! While experiencing the aforementioned events, take some time to learn about the over 50 different kinds of trees located there by downloading and printing this Northam ParkTree Trek brochure.
