The Upper Arlington Public Library is pleased to offer online access to the New York Times to our patrons. By following a few simple steps, you can get unlimited access to articles on NYTimes.com inside or outside of the library.

Inside any UA library location:

  • Use one of our public computers, or use your device to connect to our wifi.
  • Create a free account at nytimes.com/register, or log into your existing account.
  • Then read all the articles you would like!

Outside of UA Library locations:

  • Go to the UA Library Online Reference Database page (databases.ualibrary.org).
  • Select New York Times Digital Access from the alphabetical list of resources (or click here).
  • Enter your UA Library card number and PIN.
  • Click the “Redeem” button next to the access code.
  • Enter your email address to create or log in to your NYTimes.com account, then you will be able to read unlimited articles on any internet browser or in the NYT smartphone apps.
  • This code will expire after three days (72 hours). When that happens, go back to databases.ualibrary.org to redeem the New York Times Digital Access code again, and as often as you would like!
