Gale Literary Sources

A variety of hardbound and paperback print books stacked messily.

In case you didn’t know, the UA Library subscribes to resources for our patrons to access to a wealth of information not available for free online. This includes our immensely popular subscriptions to Consumer Reports, Mango Languages, a variety of business and investment resources, and full text access to a wide variety of magazines and newspapers. All you need is your UA Library card number and PIN!

But there are many more hidden gems among our subscriptions! One example is Gale Literary Sources (formerly Artemis Literary Sources), which is the perfect resource not only for students working on literature projects, but anyone who loves reading (and reading about!) classic and contemporary novels, short stories, poetry, and more. Simply enter a title or author to search across thousands of resources for articles covering criticism, book reviews, genres, cultural analysis, and, in some cases, complete literary works.

To discover more gems among UA Library's subscribtions, click on Research at the top of this page and choose Databases, or simply go to databases.ualibrary.org. Narrow it down by what you are interested in by choosing a Database Topic on the left-hand side of the page.

And don’t forget, you can always contact a Reference Librarian by phone, textemail, or in person for assistance in using our databases and eBooks.
