Seniors Ask the Expert: The Medical Advocate

Have you ever found that a health crisis for yourself or a loved one has left you feeling confused and helpless? Dr. Annette Ticoras was a physician who witnessed firsthand how medical situations, medical jargon, tests, procedures, prescriptions, and diagnoses could be difficult to interpret and navigate for patients. She now works as a medical advocate for patients who need her help. This is your chance to ask questions to help you understand how to advocate for yourself, your family members as well as options for using a professional when you’re not sure you can do it yourself.
