Getting Started on Your Family History

Jayne Davis from the Franklin County Genealogical & Historical Society returns to the Lane Road Library to explore how to get started on tracing your family history. This 2 part program will help you prepare for our One-on-One Meeting with a Genealogist program on October 9th.

On select Mondays-Wednesdays the meeting room will be open to all 6th-12th graders. Study tables, video games, board games, and other activities will be set out from 3-5:30pm. No registration required, bring a friend and meet some new ones at Teen Takeover!

Preschool Stories and Crafts Class

Children ages 3 1/2-6 are invited to join us at the Lane Road Library for Stories and Crafts. Each week participants will listen to books and then make a fun project. Children and caregivers will learn prereading skills through stories, songs, rhymes, and art activities.

Let's Speak English

This is a great opportunity for adults to practice English with ESOL trained volunteers. The class begins promptly at 1pm and latecomers may not be allowed to attend. Registration for the program opens on September 7th.
