But their plan to get food goes wrong when Pablo find himself possibily becoming food for a young girl's snake. How they solve this predicament makes for a lively story. Recommended for grades 2-4.

Fans of mermaids and fans of the author Cornelia Funke will enjoy this new beginning chapter book. Lilly and Fin, best friends and adventurous merpups, decide to go exploring in the deep sea where they live. What they don't know is that the Snorkels, a human couple who are intent on obtaining a mermaid for their museum, are lurking nearby. After they trap Finn, it's up to Lilly to rescue him. There's lots of action in this humorous and entertaining story.
