bulk Italian sausage 1
28 oz. can diced tomatoes 6 c
beef broth 1
15 oz. can tomato sauce 2 c
zucchini (sliced) 1
large onion (chopped) 1 c
carrots (sliced) 1 c
fresh mushrooms (sliced) 1
medium green pepper (chopped) 1⁄4 c
parsley (minced) 2 t
sugar 1 t
dried oregano 1 t
dried basil 1 clv
garlic (minced) 2 c
frozen cheese tortelliniInstructions
In a skillet, cook and drain sausage. Place sausage and remaining ingredients except tortellini and cheese into slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours until vegetables are tender.
Cook tortellini; drain. Stir into slow cooker, cover and cook 30 minutes longer. Serve with Parmesan cheese if desired.
