The UA Library provides several ways for our patrons to access hundreds of newspapers online free, without any paywalls or advertising to ruin your reading experience. Using some of our popular online databases (full list found at databases.ualibrary.org), read the day's articles in your favorite newspaper, or research current or historical events across multiple papers.
UA Library patrons have complete access to the articles published in the most well-known and respected US newspapers, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and Chicago Tribune, through US Major Dailies (formerly National Newspapers).

Do you want to research newspaper articles further back than that 1980s? We also offer Historical Newspapers, with coverage of events going back to the 19th century, including the full run of The New York Times.
