Coding Club for Middle Schoolers

Coding Club, Jan. 7- Feb. 25th from 7-8pm each Wednesday
Learn to code! Students in grades 5-8 are welcome to join our coding club where we’ll follow sequential steps to build a website. All participants will need a valid email address and be willing to work with a partner. The club is intended for students with little or no knowledge of coding. Computers will be provided. Registration is limited and required. Students should be able to attend at least 6 of the 7 sessions.

Downton Abbey Season 5 Premiere Party

Are you a Downton Abbey fan? Join us after hours at the library for scones, tea and the season 5 premiere of Downton Abbey on our big screen in the theater. Dress in costume and you’ll be entered in our raffle prize drawing.

Digital Media Q & A

Start the new year by learning how to get free eBooks, movies, music and more from your library. Sign-up to guarantee a time, or just drop in. Staff members from Media Services will help you set-up your tablet or eReader and show you how to access our great digital collections. Please bring your device and passwords for the app store.

Feed Down Fines

Got fines? Got food? The UAPL will clear $1.00 of your fines for every canned or boxed food item that you donate to the Heart to Heart Food Pantry, up to a total of $10. Drop off your donations anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in meeting room A. Please check expiration dates in advance! Don’t have any fines but want to donate anyway? Bring your food items to us and we’ll be glad to get them delivered for you.

Teens Like LEGOs Too!

Exams are over and it’s time for some relaxing fun. You’re never too old to build with LEGOs. Hang out with your friends and build with our LEGO collection. This program is exclusively for students in grades 6-12. Participants will not be able to keep their creations.
