Paul Manship: Art Deco Sculptor

If you have ever seen the Prometheus sculpture at Rockefeller Center in New York City, you are already aware of the work of American sculptor, Paul Manship. In this program, we will learn about Manship’s early training, his wide-ranging interests in art history and how he synthesized these elements into a unique style that led to his becoming one of the earliest Art Deco artists in America.

Instructor is Ann Shifflet of the Columbus College of Art and Design.
