Need to search for job openings or update your resumé? The library system offers free WI-FI and dozens of computer workstations with Internet access, word processing software and printing capability. For true novices, we offer one-on-one computer help by appointment in our Media Services Department. |

PROGRAMS
The Upper Arlington Public Library periodically schedules programs aimed at helping adults in various aspects of their professional lives. RESUME SOFTWARE
The Upper Arlington Public Library has purchased a complete resume and career building software package for jobseekers. This software (WinWay - installed on all UAPL Patron PCs) helps to create job-winning resumes, audits resumes for mistakes, assists with cover letters, and more. Other features include job searching, salary maximizer and interview skill building videos. See a librarian if you need assistance running the software. |

Job Help Programs - January/February 2010 Whether it's resume writing help, access to classifieds, industry and company information or acquiring new skills, job hunters have always been able to rely on the free resources of their local library. In today's economy, these resources are more in demand than ever. To meet this demand, and provide additional support for local job seekers, five central Ohio libraries sponsor many job help related programs. Those attending can have their resume reviewed by experienced career advisors, learn the "do's and don'ts" of interviewing, get help with job search strategies and receive 1-on-1 career coaching. These programs are free and open to the public.
