Overview

The UAPL Foundation is "Building a Library Legacy" through a chartered 501(c)(3) tax exempt foundation. Created to ensure that a library system of excellence continues in the future, the Foundation serves to further enhance the scope and quality of services through long-term financial stability.

Mission

The Foundation is "to be operated exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes" for the benefit of the Upper Arlington Public Library. It is governed by a Foundation Board composed of leading members of the community and representatives from the UAPL Board of Trustees.

Projects and Events

The Foundation's projects have included:

  • Authors and speakers
  • An appraisal clinic of books
  • Rare books and manuscripts with Sotheby’s representatives
  • Receptions and tours hosted by Upper Arlington leaders in their private homes
  • A Miller Park Winter Carnival
  • Participation in Fourth of July events
  • The annual Legacy Tree

Investment

We invite you to participate in the continued excellence of the community’s library and information services. All donations are tax deductible through the UAPL Foundation.
