Steve Hunt will conclude our fall series with a discussion of “Match Point”, another great movie by Woody Allen. Match Point is a drama about ambition and obsession and the seduction of wealth. It involves a rich British family and two outsiders who hope to enter it by the virtue of their physical beauty. But most importantly, it is about the huge part luck plays in the events of our lives, refuting the notion that we have more control over our lives that we really do. 2005 124 min R
