The Volunteer UA Expo  takes place Thursday, April 16, 2015, from 10 am to 7 pm, here at the Upper Arlington Public Library. It's a great way for potential volunteers to learn about opportunities to give back.
If you can't make it to the Expo, or would like to start looking into ideas now on how and where you can volunteer, the following are some resources that may be helpful.
Volunteer in Upper Arlington
If you would like to make a difference close to home, the City of Upper Arlington suggests several ways to volunteer in the community. They include volunteering for the Senior Center, Beautification of the Parks, and helping out in the Recreation division. Follow the provided links for applications, or contact the City at 614-583-5000 for more information.
