Join our Teen Advisory Board to help plan events and programs, promote reading and volunteering, and help make the library a great space for teens. Grades 6-12 are welcome to our meetings and will receive service credit. No Registration required.

For children 0-24 months and their caregivers. Caregivers will learn songs, stories and rhymes to enhance personal reading time. These skills will help children build vocabulary, recognize objects, and build a foundation for reading and learning. Some baby signs will be incorporated in this storytime. (Thursdays only)

Tales for Twos and Threes Class

For children ages 2-3 and their caregivers. Songs, rhymes and stories teach children how sounds and letters relate to reading and will build a foundation for future learning. Interaction with instructors and other children encourages social development and allows caregivers to connect.

Practical Parenting: Understanding adolescents and their emotional development

From the onset of adolescence stems a voyage through astonishing and overwhelming developmental changes. Both parents and teens alike can feel out of control during this journey. Increased understanding of adolescent brain functioning can help navigate teens’ changes in moods, improve relationships and reduce distress experienced both by adolescents seeing life with new eyes and adults looking back on the paths already traveled.
