Help a younger student entering grades 1-3 with their reading during this five-week series. Do reading activities and coach them as they read to you. We meet each Tuesday, June 14-July 19 at 6:45 p.m. Mandatory training on June 14 will last 20 minutes; all other sessions will be 1 hour and 15 minutes. Teens must commit to 3 of the 5 weeks. Applications are available May 1 and are due by May 31.
Students entering grades 1-3 can practice reading with a local teen during this five-week program. Registrants must commit to at least 3 weeks. (Note weeks you will be unavailable during registration). A variety of reading materials will be supplied. Registration begins May 23 and will be limited by the number of volunteers we recruit.
Presenter Chris Quickert will get little ones moving and learning sport skills through sports lead-in games, cooperative activities like parachute games, and many other activities. These games will take place out in Miller Park and are designed for maximum participation, activity, and fun! Registration is required for each session and opens two weeks prior. Registered participants must be accompanied by an adult during the program. Don’t forget your water bottles!
