Live Green in 2017!

Looking to go a little greener in 2017? Check out the GreenSpot program. The program recognizes households (and businesses) that adopt sustainable practices. You commit to at least two actions in conserving water, conserving energy, and reduce/reuse/recycle. As a member you will receive a GreenSpot decal for you house, have your own personalized GreenSpot dashboard on the website, receive ideas (more than 60!) of how to go sustainable and can be eligible for discounts on rain barrels, compost bins, or native plants/trees. It is easy being green with GreenSpot.

Presented by David Celebrezze, Columbus GreenSpot coordinator. David is responsible for working with, and encouraging, businesses and households to adopt sustainable practices through the many GreenSpot programs. David has more than a decade of experience with environmental, conservation, and sustainability related issues. In the spring time he can be found in season wetlands (vernal pools) collecting data on salamanders and fairy shrimp.
