Preschool Seeds and Flowers

Age Group: 

Preschoolers and their caregivers can join us for a hands-on program exploring seeds and flowers. We’ll read some stories, do some music and movement activities and each child will leave with some planted seeds. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that can withstand some messy fun! Weather permitting we may be outdoors. Registration is required and begins May 4th.

Fun Day Carnival!

Join us out in Miller Park for an end of summer Fun Day Carnival. We will offer some old fashioned carnival games like a Book Walk, a Penny Pitch, Bean Bag Toss, Facepainting, Parachute Play and lots more. Don’t miss the fun!

Balloon Sculpting Workshop for Kids!

Saturday, June 29, 2013 - 11:00am to 12:00pm

Age Group: 

Learn how to transform balloons into cool creations! Erica Carlson, from Erica Carlson Children’s Entertainment, will teach kids how to make basic twists and coach them through sculpting some of their very own creations. For kids in grades K-5. Registration is required and begins June 15.

Dig It? Draw It!

Have a “hole” lot of fun with Jeff Nicholas and his new cartooning program. Jeff entertains the audience with original illustrations and humorous poems and stories while teaching how to create his quirky, underground characters using a simple “draw along” cartooning method.
