Little Mermaid, Jr.

Come get a sneak peak of Jones Middle School’s Fall Production “The Little Mermaid Jr.”! Watch and listen as students perform a few scenes and songs that you know and love. Stay after to meet the characters, take pictures, and make crafts. Free tickets are required for this library performance and will be available beginning October 4th in the Youth Department. Information for the full school production will be available on hand. Recommended for ages 5+.

Story Starters Club

Do you like to write stories? Come be a part of our Story Starters Club. This month we will make storytelling kits and write fun stories using the kits. Take the kit home with you after the program and make up more stories with your family!. For grades 2-5. Registrations is required and begins September 24.

Children and caregivers join us for stories, building and fun! Each month we’ll read a couple of stories to start, then the building will begin with our LEGO and LEGO Duplo blocks. We provide books and blocks as inspiration, then your child gets hands-on building time. Please note, children will not be able to keep their creations. Registration is required and begins two weeks prior.

Backyard Friendly Birding - Drop In Activities

During the summer, Upper Arlington High School senior, Katharine Baldwin worked on a Girl Scout Gold Award by monitoring bird populations at the Audubon Grange Metro Park. Drop by her display in the atrium for birding crafts, book suggestions, to learn about her research and to get tips on how to create a bird-friendly back yard.
