UAPL Website Information Page
The Upper Arlington Public Library maintains our website to not only provide access to our catalog of holdings, but to also promote our programs, events and other resources we provide for the community.
About the Design
The design of the UAPL website was created to address current needs, add new features, and maintain readiness for future website innovations.
We appreciate your comments and feedback. To report a problem or suggest an enhancement, direct your comments to webmaster@ualibrary.org. If you're reporting a problem (a broken link, typo, formatting issue, etc), please include the URL of the affected page.
Here is a brief summary of some of the features.
- Consistent color palette, styles and graphics throughout main site.
- Larger, more readable fonts and open design in larger (wider) page size.
- Enhanced catalog search features including a sitewide "Quicksearch" box (in upper left on each page). Will search in titles, authors and keywords.
- Improved Navigation:
- Dropdown menus to guide patrons to most common pages
- Digital Downloads and Career & Business have become their own menu items
- The library catalog is more tightly integrated into the site design and features.
- Today's events on front page includes link for nicely formatted 7-day calendar as well as full calendar access. Click any event in list to bring up registration details and form.

- Social media - integration of Twitter and Facebook in the website with quick link icon in navigation and embedded feeds on Library Link page.
